COFF'S HARBOR, AUSTRALIA, 2014
Surrounding an existing – and gorgeous – golf course, among the finest in the country, we designed a resort development of 1000 units with an elaborate cultural and commercialinfrastructure, including hotel, casino, a planning institute, an international school, an arts center, and a hospital for koala bears, abundant in large national park adjoining the site. Internal transportation is to be via solar powered golf-carts, all sewage ise treated on site (and included a grey water system for the thirsty golf-course), and waste management isrigorous. The whole is organized as a series of compact villages, preserving the landscape and conducing to tractable scales of sociability.
