Starfish Pavilion

CONEY ISLAND, NY, USA, 2005

The Starfish Café joins the queue of Coney Island icons. A rotating restaurant takes in the view, from the ballpark to the ocean to the parachute jump, at one revolution per hour, a giant clock. At boardwalk level, an outdoor café and a shop or restaurant. At ground level, exhibition space for the Coney Island Gallery, catalyst perhaps for the Coney Island Museum.
